Paul, Nice cylinder. Fits a Fry 117. Price is fair. The flea bites, if they are the bubbles shown, are actually trapped air. 100 years ago....These cylinders, during this time period, were hand blown. The glass worker used a tube to blow into, which expanded the hot glass before fitting in into a form for the final product. No air compressors were used for this. They needed very strong lungs to achieve this type of endeavor. Imagine if we could get a sample of the breath trapped in just one bubble? Wonder what we might find? Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Paul- thank you sir. Im sure it took some serious lung power to blow that glass. Wouldve been neat to see that in process of being made. The imperfections in the pic appears to be bubbles, but not sure. The air isnt trapped between the glass, but exposed on outside.. maybe small chips from sitting for years in the attic of the building i got it out of (the grandson who owned the place said it was an old texaco at one point).

Ken- Rebel gas will be jan7th in Astatula, Fl (just outside of Orlando). Attached is the flyer from FB.

I think they used a bellows to pump air into the molds. Not sure 10 men would have the lung power to blow one cylinder much less production quantities. LOL
