Just purchased this sign and trying to find out more info about its history. It is hand painted on steel. Please let me know if you have any background on the history of this design/logo - I believe it may be an early Standard Oil Boy. Thanks!

That is similar to the boys head on a figural masonite Southern Oil Co. (SOC) credit card sign.


Looking for photos, etc from 60s era Shell-A-Rama gas station and Pal's Diner, Rt. 17 Mahwah, NJ
& US or state highway signs, shields, route markers
