I think I want to put a 15 steel globe on my Mae west
But I have never seen one before in person
So I have questions
Why do some say low profile?
Is there a high profile?
Is there just one maker of the steel body,s?
Do they look the same if more then one?
Do all use a snap ring to hold lens in place?

I'd like to have it as tall as possible (I know sounds stupid )lol

Is there a site that list big selection of glass lenses as I have not decided how I want to paint the pump yet
ORIGNALY I was thinking puting Hudson gasoline but have never seen that for the 15 inch body's
Thank ya

If you want tall, why not get a 16.5" globe instead? You might need Jim at T-Ways Graphics to make the lenses for you, and you'll need to find a 16.5" body.

Just an FYI, that logo is way too new for a May West, unless that doesn’t bother you, then do what makes you happy. Just didn’t know if you knew.

All 13.5 metal globe bodies are reproduction. Some good globe information is on GasGlobes, com:

Lots of old gas globe photos with sold values at:

Excellent reference on globes and oil company history:
