You are absolutely right! However is this not also true of almost any antique, petrolina sign, etc, since so few of the population are actually engaged in collecting such items?

minimal .. ... I am seeing similar items on ebay priced from $25 to $50. I plosted on here hoping to get a response from someone who has actually sold something similar as an aid in pricing .

Jeff, If you can find similar items listed on eBay click the Sold Items button on the side menu and you can see what similar items actually sell for. I use that quite often to check items I sell in my antique booth to assist in pricing.

The ones I found in much better condition sold for 10 to 25 range. Like randy said minimal value.
