Beautiful example, 1970's Horikawa Toys, Battery Operated Fire Engine. I don't think the toy has ever had batteries in it, as its in superb condition, both the toy and the box.
Toy does come with the ladder box, which has been wrapped up separately to prevent scratching.
Horikawa was founded in 1959 as Tin Toy vender, and it has the (SH) trade mark. They started to produce dream making Robot and Space Toys, and then moved toward becoming the top Robot toy vender.
