Very old "new mobile oil sign. 28 wide 43 tall. Never seen another. Nice shape. Any idea of value?

It is heavy card stock paper

I'm pretty sure this is a card stock sign, and I have seen one for sale on Ebay within the last year.....

there is only one clue of the age (if real) -

would be the mobil font ( DWSheffer would know) '31/'32 ?

by what its made of many didn't survive

which would classify this as rare

IMO: I would date this 30's early 40's,

value: condition - minimum of 200.+ .. ... cool

It's odd that when I replied earlier today it didn't have the OP's comments before mine saying it was on card stock, so sorry for my subsequent comment, not sure what happened.

Yes, I would agree the sign is circa 1938-40 with the serif font used.
