Is there any way to tell if ad glass is original NOS or a repop?
Thanks

It's never been too much of a problem, the originals havent spiked in value too much so faking seems unnecessary. The construction of repops and originals is pretty much the same, so looking for aging or rust stains consistent with being on a pump would be what Id do. I'm sure you could fake age them but would it be worth doing.

I am looking at some NOS and they look really good. Is there any way to tell NOS from repops?

a lot of originals have frosted backs. Some are glossy like reproductions.

One way to tell repop from original is he thickness of the glass...the original glass is double-strength. 1/8", Most repops are on single-strength glass,1/16"......
