Anybody know how glass lenses attach to a reproduction glass globe.?? I have always used metal or plastic globes. Bought some really nice original lenses and would like to put them in a correct looking glass globe. Everything I have read say they attach with screws but that seems a little scary.. Want it to look period correct but don't want to damage the lenses either... Thanks in advance for the input Greg

Yup, bolts and nuts with one per side at 3:00 & 9:00.
Just like they were attached back in the day.
Later . . .

You can put a tiny rubber o-ring or grommet on the screw (check local hardware for the tiny ones). And for the love of god, don’t tighten them.
