Just wanted to share one of my favorites we've got here, beautiful Texaco Wayne 628!

I believe it was the first/one of the first electric pumps ever produced, and had the serious design flaw of malfunction causing the gas inside the cylinder to catch fire; essentially turning the unit into a giant flamethrower hahaha! Should've done a standard milk glass flame top

I'm not exactly sure on that! It may have been something the restorations guys decided to do

Very nice looking pump .It looks like your Brass tags are all original . Here is a picture of my unrestored 628 brass tags . Doe's your pump have the original float mechanism ? I took a couple of pictures of mine but its hard to see .
