Just bought a nice Texaco globe and was looking for ideas on how to display it. Looking for a nice base. It's 5" in D and I can only find 6" D bases online. I don't collect globes, so I am new to this, but love the one piece and would like to display it with pride. Any ideas or recommendations? thank you

Something simple if you not interested in going elaborate. I just display my globes on a shelf over a window candle with a 7w bulb that you can get at Michael's crafts. And some of them have timers. Gives a nice even glow as the candle holder places the bulb in the center. Bob
