Cool thanks so much guys. Flying A is one of my favorite brands so I like learning about it. I also noticed another obvious difference comparing them. I’ll PM you, I don’t want the bad guys to read too much. Lol

Another thing to look at is the holes. The repops have the holes just inside the black line. The originals have the black line going through the top of the hole.

Thanks Matt - I did find that as well in researching some old posts in this forum. On a similar note, I have the opportunity to buy a Flying A sign and would like the group’s thoughts on the legitimacy of this sign. As shown in the attached pictures, the grommet/holes are on the outside of the black line, closer to the outside edge.

For comparison, I put my Tydol Ethyl sign shown in the original post on top of this sign and the holes lined up perfectly - not sure if this is an indicator or not. Also - the back of this sign in question has a light green back, although it does not show well in the pictures (taken outdoors on a typical cloudy, rainy Washington day!)

Buy or pass?
