You never know what you will find in the weeds out west. Headed for Wisconsin. RARE 1934 Wayne 50 "showcase pump". The dry climate has protected it all these years. Average value in this condition, $10,000 plus?? What do you think?

So Craig if I'm selling does that mean you think it's worth $5,000? 😏

No not at all. Have seen many people though buy something for 10 dollars and then want either to see if they got a great deal or whether they got a good one. I too have the same problem at times not knowing the value of something that I have had for a long period of time and need refreshing. This item you just picked up so that is why the question. It does not matter what you paid, its yours and you can ask what you want. Picked up one in the Spokane area years ago and looked exactly the same, color look and all.

😅 I hope you know I was just kidding. you know how it is when somebody is thinking about buying something all of a sudden it's not worth as much to them. 😂 I respect your opinion and appreciate your input. I'm 74 years old now and I've just stopped collecting. you know what they say my biggest fear is that when I die my wife sells my collection for what I told her it was worth. Lol

Love the pump, and probably worth more like that now. By the way, my wife has the same thoughts, except years ago it was to give it to the junk man.

Last one restored brought 22,500 plus buyers premiun at auction with correct firestone signage. I think your value is in the ballpark.

Awesome find! Good for you.. I just wonder if the side and bottom panels are painted over signage or just sheet metal. And was signage on these pumps originaly just brand preference. Thanks ..

The 50A I have did not have signage. Firestone was the only company that I know that used signage on these pumps. Richard

John, Having restored one a few years back, and now knowing what it costs to restore one, plus the work involved, I feel your pump is worth about 15K--give or take a little, depending on the condition of the overall pump and the pieces like the window frames. I would bet that I'm not far off?
