At almost 84 it is time to liquidate many of my treasures. Many are small items and I will be starting here.
All three of these items are different.
These were either sold or given away at the 1933-1934 Chicago Worlds Fair. They all are 4 5/8 inches tall. The very large tower that was inside the center of the fair was the first thing you saw as you approached the entrance. These are small souvenirs of the large tower. All say "Havoline Thermoneter Tower A Century of Progress 1933 Chicago (or 1933-1934).
The yellow one is very heavy (probably metal) and the thermometer is missing. The writing at the bottom is slightly different, it states "1933-1934."
The silver looking one is probably aluminum, base states "1933 Chicago."
The gold one is plastic or Bakelite. Base states "1933 Chicago."
Price is $35.00 each, $100.00 for all three. If you buy all three I will include an original unused 1933 post card showing the large tower. Can't find it today, but I'll find it soon) Shipping with insurance is $10.00 for one, $15.00 for all three.
