Thinking about building an island. Would like to get some ideas and see some pics of what others have done. How thick would you pour the base. Thoughts, ideas, pics are appreciated

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I like everything but the above slab wiring. Pre think and decide what goes where and leave a open box under each item hiding wiring in slab. Set your fixtures and you have power under each. Then its as simple as opening door and wiring them up.Many items can be used to make your rounded ends. half of 55 gal drum works well if you aren't after a wide island.
