This sign differs in a few ways from others that have been posted previously. Here are just a few of the differences:
1. The Black triangle in the "A" sags (not centered)
2. The grommets are not as far out as they should be
3. Wings are yellow, not white
4. My son tells me that the letters were printed on with a printer (they are pixelated or ragged around the edges as seen under a magnifying glass)

How is my detective work? Am I correct in assuming that this is not authentic original?

I'd say you're right. Here's one original.

You are correct, hole position and color are off on repops. Also the color of the back. Original is gray. The one on the pump is original, one held next to it is repop.

Thanks Matt. A side by side is so obvious! Thanks for taking the time to show those.
