I picked up these NOS light shades over the summer and I'd like to install them onto a pole underneath a larger Revere shade I have. I need the sockets and connecting bar/conduit. Can anybody point me to a company that sells the repop electrical works? I want hardware that will look vintage and proper for the time period of the shades. I went to the chain hardware stores, and each "electrical specialist" was less than enthusiastic to help out, so I'm at ground zero.
Any help would be much appreciated. As I'm typing this, I thought I'd add...if you have the parts that you think will plug into these shades, feel free to drop me a private message.
Paul

Never put together that light shade, but usually end up cobbling together parts that look right for this kind of thing. Have to get creative. Amazon has some vintage style sockets you can use, also I've had luck at the old hardware stores.

To my knowledge nothing is reproduced for those. I usually buy rough ones and change them out to a better shade . GOOD LUCK

*****, I had a bad feeling that would be the only option. I did some work as a contractor in the factory where my Dad worked in the 60's. As I was walking out the door, there was a box of porcelain ceiling shades, and I asked the maint super if I could grab a couple. He very loudly told me no, which was weird because he's a super guy. Then he slid past me and whispered "I'll meet you at your pickup in 5 minutes." He motored up with two of them in the back of his golf cart, and we squirreled them away in my truck. He explained there were cameras all over the place, and he wanted to keep us both out of trouble. I was hoping to kill 2 birds with one stone, and build both shade pairs, but I'm spinning my wheels. I go to the antique shows at Brimfield Mass a couple times a year, and I will have to start visiting the dealers that have architectural salvage. Maybe I will luck into what I need with them.
