For those of you who have interest in attending Michigan Gas May 18th, 2008…….
Here is the lowdown on Michigan Gas.
The show is Sunday May 18th, but Big Cheese always invites "gasaholics" to a BBQ at his place on Saturday. It’s a great time 6080 Grand River, Brighton, Michigan. Not to be missed. Collectors come from coast to coast for this one. It gets bigger every year.
There is an early entry Sunday morning 6 AM to 8 AM for $10.00 per person. Gates open at 8 AM for $2.00 per person or $5.00 for the whole family.

There is also a raffle for a Globe, Body and Signs. Globe lenses 15" Harbor lenses and body and jewels from Globe-logos, 2 - 12" custom pump plates. Globe body donated by Mike Slama powder coating donated by Phil Stokes.
A $550.00 value, tickets = 1 for $3.00, 2 for $5.00, 5 for $10.00, 12 for $20.00. You can even call and order tickets if you can’t attend. Winner is picked Sunday afternoon at the show by a person from the crowd.

has anyone been to this show? i am thinking about going. sounds like it good.

It's a blast! Been there the last 2 years for the Spring and Fall show. The show is on Sunday, but there's a BBQ at Cheese's on Saturday afternoon that uaually runs into the night, lots of selling out of the back of trucks and trailers. If your their on Friday, a bunch of us go out for dinner.

I went last fall for the first time and had a great weekend, very warm welcome and super people. Sat night is enough to get me there and that's not even the "show"!

If you are into pumps, there are excellent vendors and pump guys registered for spaces.
Also brands not seen on the west coast.
