Ok guys, after nearly a decade search I finally was able to buy this part that was missing from my Bowser C81. Before I put it on I’m considering having it recast. But to warrant the work I’d need to have a fair amount of interest. Please let me know on this thread or through PM if you need one so I can decide.

Thanks!

Yes there was a lever made out of thin sheet metal, lots of times either gone or just bent over. Had a couple that way and did not know what went over it. Seeing this now seems that it would be a must for any C-81. Saw that on ebay and just did not know which pump it fit.

There’s a sheet metal arrow that fits through a slit in one side and which moves when the shutoff valve is moved. Like Craig said...arrow would be very simple to make.

Bringing this back to the top gentlemen. I had enough initial interest to take the plunge. It's out to the caster currently. Anyone else want to get on the list? I'm only having a very low number of these made and won't be doing it again. Take advantage!

I would probably take one, just to have on hand, if I knew how much they were going to cost.

I would also like to purchase one of the Bowser plates. I have a C81 Visible and nowhere to hang the hand valve.
Can I still get one? When will you have them available? What will the cost be?

Ok everyone, the wait is over. I believe I PM’d everyone back who either posted here or contacted me privately. I must say, going back over all of this I don’t think I had enough made but we’ll see. I’m not going to have any more done so what I have is what I have. Price is $300/pc shipped and although they came out very nice, there will need to be a little Dremel work done to make them perfect. Pretty standard with cast iron parts. I really need to stress first come first serve as I think I’m going to run out. Please PM me or text if you have my number.
Thanks!

SOLD OUT!

All have been spoken for guys. If someone backs out and/or doesn’t pay, I’ll get in touch with anyone else who wants one. But unless that happens, that’s all she wrote.

Thanks!

All...due to renewed interest over the last year and a half or so, I'm looking in to having a few more of these made. Ron Scobie has been gracious enough to consider helping out. I'd like to get an idea of how much need there is, since it is quite the process to get it done. Anyone who needs one (or more), can they please add their info to this thread? And if you know of anyone not usually on oldgas who may need one, please get in touch with them and let them know. If this happens, it will likely be the last time.

Thanks!

I am sure I am late to the party but wondering if you ever got any castings done?
Thanks Grant
