Does anyone have any information about this oil can? I’ve never seen one and haven’t been able to find another or anything about it.

This is the most I got out of anyone. Sounds like a heck of a find!!!

I've seen that can in a guy's collection one time when I asked him if he wanted to sell it he said it was very rare and it would cost me over 400.00 .... I live in Pennsylvania and have only seen one in my life now you have number two .... I really don't know the price but the guy that collects them is a serious collectors so I would think that can today is a top player to a true collectors. If you find out please let me know I'd like to find one and keep it.

Pretty cool can, being a union guy I like it! Google doesn't seem to do anything, although it did send me on some wild goose chases,

If you really want to know history that address is in records in New York City library that stores old address/ phone books.

That type of library may also have company history.

Being it carries a union logo it came from a union factory, which leads me to think it has no relationship to Union 76.

Back in the day there was this thought process if succesfull you had to move company to New York City so the address on bottom may be no more then main office.

But thats where I would start. I can't read the whole address or I would of done some more searching.

My notion is Unoil is short for Union oil.,but I found nothing looking for trade mark history.

To sum it up I know nothing about your can! Good Luck.
