Good morning,

Does anyone one this site have the ability to re-lid an imperial gallon can? I am considering purchasing one that could use a little love.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Scot

It depends upon the diameter. The earlier Canadian gallons are taller and have a smaller diameter, identical to the US 5 quart cans and also the US gallons I believe. Those I can do. The later Canadian imperial gallons are shorter and slightly wider, so my lids would not fit. Sorry I don't have the dimensions handy since I am at work. Cheers, Don.

I can do both the early 6 5/8 diameter gallons (same as US 5 quart) and the newer shorter 7" diameter gallon cans. I also can dent repair any early soldered rectangular/square tins. From the smaller half gallons right up to the big square 5 gallons.
