This was my first gas bash and I loved it. I have never met so many friendly and helpful collectors. I have been a part of many groups and organiztions over the years and I have never been part of something where everyone is so helpful and friendly. I took a couple pictures below with some of my new buddies. It was neat to finally put some names and faces together.

This is Ted(my Dad), Me, & Dwaine(apparantly my other Dad HA HA)Can you see the resemblance?

Hubba and I talked about setting up Teeth N' Tattoos. He's a pretty cool guy to talk to. Very nice and a lot of fun. My dad and Hubba traded a bunch of cans. My dad gave Hubba some full beer cans and Hubba just kept buying more oil cans from my dad. Somehow Hubba ended up with all the cans. HA HA. I got my 15" Polly globe fom Mike Slama. Awesome globe. He is a true assest to Petroliana. Nice guy to talk to as well. Thanks Mike. I met fellow Republican Aquaelvis. I'll let him tell you about his many pump scores. Larry from Arizona sold that Awesome Gilmore Wayne 60 that he showed us a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for all your advice about pump restoring/painting Larry. Very valuable info. And I'll keep on chuggin' along with those pumps. I met a lot of other real nice collectors as well. I wish I could have stayed for another day, but my kids are both sick with ear infections. Dads on vacation for a few more days so 41150 (Ted) will be posting pictures later in the week. Thanks to everyone for a great time. Can't wait to see those pictures and hear all of those stories.

Jason Glad you had a great time....It is a lot of fun going to gas bash's. It's neat that you and your dad can do something together like that you both enjoy. I like your dad also we wheel and deal on cans on eBay. I'm lucky that my brother and my dad as well as my uncle all collect as well. Thanks for posting pictures so we also can put faces to the names.

Hi Jason,
It was nice to meet you, your dad, Hibba, Jeff, Don and everyone else at Fred's. Wow, did I have a ball looking and buying! When I didn't have my hand in my pocket, Dwainey did! My son Todd also had a great time & bought 4 or 5 nice signs to add to his small but growing collection. Later, Elden

Well I guess I'm the last guy home. Had to go over to the coast for a night and view the ocean. Make my not so big blonde happy even though she had a great time meeting all the gas geeks serving coffee and beer and tacos. I scord some great signs and a couple killer quarts which will be posted later. Had a great time meeting everyone. I can't mention everyone cause there were a bunch but for the first time actually meeting Hubba was great. We share the same taste in quart cans and beer I know that much. Spent more than I took in but what would you expect. Super super super. Ted

Arm wrestling for the sign. From left to right Aquaelvis,Premopetrol Larry Ivy, Hubba, OlToyDoc Don Sherwood,ss454elcamiono5 Elden.

I saw the scene... scared me! I was not about to go near, they were going through signs and throwing money at the guy. Glad I don't collect signs, someone could have been hurt. Don't know anything else about him, I am sure Dwaine does. He spend 50+ hours talking non-stop
At one in the morning I hear him in the next room say "jump on in here, you won't hurt nothin" I don't know what was going on... ewwwwww!
