Hello guys...Yesterday I attended a swap meet put on by the Shriners. It was the biggest I have ever seen them put on and my legs feel like it from walking. The first picture is a load of pumps that were being sold by some friends of mine. They said they just got in to a Sinclair bulk plant and bought 38 gas pumps. They sold all of these on Sat. They also had a box full of Sinclair Dino Supreme globes as well as a 3ft tall box of ad glass and other Sinclair items.
Their were lots of gas pumps at the show but most were overpriced. Very few signs were their and only 1 original globe (Shamrock $300). The cans were all common ones but this neat 5 gallon showed up with a price of $150. They wanted $1400 and $1100 respectively for these Harley pumps LOL (NOTICE THE PAINTED FACES). What is a swap meet without cars. This olds really caught my eye as well as this El Camino that this picture does no justice. It was truly awesome with a price of $29,000. T-2-T: I agree - no orange faces. No orange nozzles either! The dude that 'restored' those will have a hard time selling them to a Harley person - there's no CHROME! You gotta know how much we love our chrome. LOL ------------------ Later . . . Jim
