I purchased this Wayne 615 recently. There is a small bracket on the side that appears to be original with the skins. It was a farm pump. Does anyone have any idea what the purpose or use this little bracket had?
Thanks,
Steve

Nozzle rest. Looks like yours is missing the drain back for some reason.

Was the drain back attached to this piece? Does anyone have a photo of a complete piece so I can see what I am missing?
Thanks

The drain back is a pipe attached to the inner drain plumbing and extending out side the pump through the skins. It does not attach to the nozzle rest. The nozzle was placed into the drain back at days end to remove any left over product from the cylinder. Then it was pad locked to the rest to prevent theft. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

It's probably been "gutted" like mine. I don't see the pump handle either. There is a rod, welded in mine, to hold the handle in one spot. Second pic is of the inside.

If there is no hole in the skins that may explain why they don’t match the paint on the rest of the pump. Repop skins? Chris

There is a hole in the skins just below the bracket. Also the pump is intac inside, is loose and has a handle.

One last question...I see you can buy a reproduction drain back for a Wayne 615 at Gas Pump Heaven. Do you simply build the rest of the piece yourself with threaded pipe and an elbow?

Keep us posted on progress. I'm also in the process of restoring my 615 and I don't have the drain back either so this was helpful.

I probably have some drain back parts if anyone is interested? I know I have all the piping and I think I have another complete setup too?
