Have a Unrestord Wayne 70 that has Pursuit Ad Glass and remains of a decal that shows what appears to be a WWII fighter plane on it. Anyone seen or have any info
on this grade of Clipper gas. My guess it was a low octane gas. Any Info appreciated!!

As a fan of WWII aircraft, I would like to see what that ad glass looks like!

I don't do photobucket anymore and don't know how to upload pics to the site. The Ad glass just says Pursuit with the usual Clipper speed lines

I don't do PMs, so send me your email address, my brother flew in the Douglas Daughless naval planes off the carriers in WWII.

Hi Jack,
The Douglas Dauntless is one of my all-time favorite WWII planes! I don't know why but I love the lines of that plane. I would be very interested in seeing pics of your brother and his plane as well as hearing any stories you'd like to share. I'll drop you an email.

Regards,
BrianH

Probably something like this door decal . . . with a different plane.

Thank You Sir!!

IMO its an unknown or forgotten piece of petro history, I can't find anything on it. Only Clipper I've seen is with the Seaplane above on both the regular and ethyl gas. I'm guessing this was a motor grade gas, maybe a super ethyl grade
but I don't think so. Anyways happy to be a care taker of petro history for awhile.
