You have to love how good a little "Bar Keepers Friend" and some wax works on cleaning up Porcelain signs!

Looks super, Mike. Did you work the Bar Keeper's Friend by hand, or with a buffer? Just wondering, since I have a sign to tackle shortly. Thanks. John

You can just use a rag, that's what I use. I have used bar keepers before and it is great stuff.

Jolly-John, I would recommend you do the barkeeper's friend by hand. It's pretty abrasive and can remove the gloss from a porcelain sign if you're too aggressive. Dilute it down to a runny paste consistency with water and gently rub by hand until you get the results you want. Rinse it off occasionally and wipe dry to make sure you're not cutting into the gloss.
