Sorry to say I don't get on here very often. Hope someone might know what this is. Very cool, deep red plastic. Thinking it may be a key chain. You can tell the scale from my grubby fingers. It is about 1/4" thick with a horizontal hole drilled towards the top. My wife found it in her mom's old button box!

It's a key chain. It used to have a metal ball chain (similar to those on basement lights) through the holes.
