My Wayne 60 serial no. is 37984 BDO. What is the year of manufacture? What does the "O" at the end of BD represent? It was stamped after the BD was stamped and a different font.

Book says that serial number was manufactured in 1937 but the numbers in that range (22514-BD to 52636-BD) only had BD at the end. The BDO suffix shows in the same year in the 40346-BDO to 52630-BDO range. There was an overlap of numbers in that range that had both suffixes but it's not showing any BDO's as far back as your number. I have no idea what the suffix letters stand for. Maybe someone else on here does (Jack?).........GB

Thank you for the info GB. At least I know that it was built in 1937.
