Has anyone ever heard of Shell Oil selling this Product?

I recently found two cans of this product and it's clearly the 1948 era colours and logo.

I've looked online for hours and can't find any trace or mention of said product or found a picture of the can.

Yea, I see that some other gas companies dealt with 2,4d including Standard oil among others. I was just curious as to why I can't find any of these Shell ones listed as sold on eBay or auction or even in forums or google image search. They seem to be rare.

Must be an oddball can.
