How can you spot a real one if they made them?

Back in 1990 these started to show up. I purchased a number of them and was selling them for $12.00-$14.00 whatever. There were guys who were buying them and they tossed them out in a field during the winter so that they would rust and look old.

Fact: Texaco never made a door stop, all fake.

I bought one, knowing it was fake, to use as...get ready...a door stop to my oil and gas room. LOL....
