Another eBay sign. I like this size and style. I hope to find one someday. But the market for signs has gone so steep lately that I'm not sure what is fair value for some of these older, possible more rare, signs.

Opinions of value? Seller is asking about $850 and won't reduce (I asked for a better price).

I would be happy with the price if I was the seller ,and if that's the best one in yr price range buy it,but personally I'd spend 3k on a nice one,

agree with above,
IMO value in that condition: minimal
buy a nice one- you do not want that- even if you spend too much for a nice one your better off
I always ask myself when I buy something, can I at least get my money back if I turn around tomorrow & sell it.
at 850. the answer is: No .. ... cool

That's a good lead, thanks! Wishing I could go to Iowa Gas just to hunt for one of these but I'm covered over with work that week. I got some real nice signs at the Peotone, IL show early this year. I am looking forward to the next one there, just not sure when the next one is scheduled.

So these little, and old, shell signs are worth north of $2K in nice condition, that's is good to know!

i just sold a decent one of these (8 in condition) for $1400... wait for one in that range of price/condition.

the one above for 850 is definitely a bad buy

When I started collecting that sign won't make a show or any interest. But that was then and this is now, barn hanger for sure. I agree with Bryce. You can find a much better one for a little more money and you won't be throwing money out the window.

So I searched and found your original ad for your sign. It was listed at $1,400. Had I known you'd come down 43% I would have been interested. I probably would have paid a bit more than $900, but the price was never dropped nor listed as OBO.
