I am starting the POTM for August here two days early since I am headed to Iowa Gas tomorrow for the week. I decided to do the Bennett 150 series of gas pumps. These clockface pumps have a great look to them, some had ad glass top skins and others did not depending on the model numbers. Here are the model numbers included this month:

-Bennett EM-150: 1929-1935, Electric-operated. Original cost was $146.
-Bennett EM-250: 1929-1932, Electric-operated. Double Visi pump. $186 original cost.
-Bennett EM-450: 1929-1935, Twin pump, Made for two grades of gasoline. $292 original cost.
-Bennett DM-150: 1931-1933. Electric-operated, Bottom skins hinged.
-Bennett DM-450: 1931-1935. Twin pump made for two grades of gasoline.

The above information is credited to Jack's book. Please show what you have everyone!

Here is my Bennett DM-150. What a great pump! The next picture is a picture of an EM-150 that I used to own. Super cool pumps!

Lets get the interest back up on this subject since IG is over. Here is my SSEC EM150. The same as Bennett because Service Station Equipment Company owned Bennett at the time.

Here is a picture of my DM 150. Sorry for all of the clutter in the picture but I'm beginning to become room challenged as my collection grows. The face plates have an "Esso" logo on them so I'm looking for a globe to match.

Well, I'm posting a little late for this one, but here's a rusty 'ol girl tucked away in my garage. It's in original form, with original sight glass and sight glass sign...
