I am finishing up some of the pages for my 3rd Edition of the Gas Pump ID book. The following was originally prepared by Tim Rohr and he gave me permission to use it in my book. I expanded it to include every visible pump that I could find. As you notice, many of the cylinder measurements read "Unknown."
My hope is that many of you can contribute sizes that you have access to. If you do, please send me an email with the measurements and be sure to include your name so I can acknowledge your contribution.

What is shown below is not what I typed, it was supposed to have spaces between the information. It should read: Pump Maker.....Gallons.....Model.....Dia/Height in inches.
For some reason cropped everything together.

jhsim@petrocllect.com

Thanking you in advance,

Jack Sim

That's quite a list of cylinders. Unfortunately I can't help you with any measurements but I think I speak for a good number of collectors when I say I can't wait for the next addition. The amount of effort your putting into this endeavor is greatly appreciated.

Hi Jack,

I'll also email you the following information. I have the top section and cylinder for what I believe is a Canadian Wayne (Boyle-Dayton) 10 gallon 78, 83 or 87. The cylinder measures 12" in diameter and is 30 3/4" tall.

In the list you included in your post there are the following:

Boyle-Dayton/Wayne 10 83, 87, 88 12 1/2 x 26
Boyle-Dayton/Wayne 10 89 Unknown
Wayne (Boyle-Dayton) 10 78, 79, 83, 87, 89B Unknown

What is the difference between a Boyle-Dayton/Wayne 10 83, 87 and a Wayne (Boyle-Dayton) 10 83, 87?

Also, in the 2nd edition of your book I see an example of a Boyle-Dayton 79 and 89 but don't see an example of a Wayne (Boyle-Dayton) 79 or 89B?
