Dear collectors.

Only to share with you and the trade the latest fake Michelin signs offered in ebay and other markets.

Many of them are really nice repros of difficult to find real Michelin American signs produced by the Michelin Tire Company of Milltown, NJ, the American branch of the European-based Michelin tire maker.

Other signs are "inspired" in real enamelled Michelin signs from France, UK or Argentina.

The problem is that these repros are offered with false information or described in an undefined way... trying to cheat people.

If these people want to be honest, they must say something like: "High quality modern enamelled REPRO of Michelin Tires old sign" or so...

Here are some images recently taken from auctions.

Best wishes!

Pau

...and here are the images of two fake enamelled Michelin signs inspired in the original ones that existed in from France, UK (the like a shield one) or Argentina (the tall yellow one).

Best wishes!
