I got this can with a number of others from another Old-Gas member that was told both real and not real.

I'm not a can expert but My thought is it's 100% Fake, so what I need is some can guys to confirm that so I can mark the bottom if it's fake. I have always thought that paper labels over metal cans were all fake but as I said I'm not a can guy...LOL

It's a unmarked metal can wrapped with the Husky Label.

Real, fake or fantasy
single choice

Reproduction is a item that has been reproduced from the original, Fantasy is an item that is just that, an item that never was made. If this can was never made in this color, style and layout, then to me it's a Fantasy can. If there is an original can that looks like this but has no paper label, to me it's a reproduction.

Thanks
Mike

I differ on my opinion of fantasy. This can was never made with a paper label. Therefore in my opinion, it is a fantasy item. Even if the paper label is true in terms of color and graphics...it's a fantasy item. To me, a reproduction has to be similar and somewhat convincing in relation to an original item.
At any rate, we can all agree this is junk.

Upon further, evaluation of the poll. I find it very disturbing that 21% of the voting membership of this site thinks this is a real can. All, I can say is; Really???

Yeah, that's scary.

Also, don't vote if you don't know. All polls should have an "I don't know" selection, to prevent people from just guessing so they can see the results.

Absolutely! What's up with that? This can was NEVER made with a paper label, and for 4 people to think its real, is very disturbing! These cans aren't all that rare and there are plenty of examples being flashed around, all the time.

I think Speedracer has the right idea.
Why should you have to vote to be able to see the polls?
