Not to worry! Tops for Wayne pumps are available fairly easily and repops are also available. If most of the pump is there, you have a great deal going!

www.vics66.com is a good place for new parts.
There are several members on here that sell original parts and if you post on the wanted to buy section, you sure might find what you need? Old Gas members Tom Buckles and Ryan Underthun, both have extensive original parts inventories.

As things typically go with some folks and trying to get pictures the modern way, my seller is having issues

In talking with him this morning he was trying to find parts and get me pics. He now realizes he is also missing other parts.

So it seems, he is not just missing the top dome, but also the three rods and top ring? Now I dont know all the nomenclature or names for all these parts. But it sounds like its missing everything from the center round section up>

That said Im looking at Vics and gas heaven and I see the universal dome is cheap and Im fine with one of those. But what are the rods called and the top ring called that the done rest upon?

Im just trying to see if its worth the $350 as he is heading this way tomorrow early and if it is he will drop it off. He is firm on the price and pumps like this (visible) are hard to come by.

I was hoping to have pics so you could see what he has and give me some advise

Dave

also, I see a ring on the gas heaver and its called a " jar lid"? where does that go on the pump?

thx

Those parts are the cylinder rods and jar lid. Not really a big deal. Most important part is to make sure the glass cylinder is there and is perfect shape. $350 is a great deal if the only parts missing are the parts you mentioned.

You posted while I was typing. Looks like a parts pump to me. I don't see the cylinder as that would still be worth $350 by itself if good.

Yea, thats it in parts. He said he will trow in a top from a different pump if he finds it and we settled at $250.00

Plus thats delivered. I think I can buy what else I need over time and build one for my island. I appreciate all the help.

I have bought a few cars from him as well and this is also helping him out so that helps me down the road

Looks like a Wayne 83, but the skins look like they are Tokheim. Richard

The price is low and you have lots of reasons to buy from him, but what you are buying is nothing but a bunch of parts! If you really want a visible pump, your best bet is to buy a complete one that someone is willing to sell. These things aren't that rare and you will end up with about twice the value by trying to put it together piece by piece! You can always buy the complete pump cheaper than trying to accumulate it piece by piece. ALWAYS!
Not sure what that pump is, but it is definitely not a Wayne. Looks like maybe a tokheim? Not much value there?

There is a photo of a complete Wayne 615 in this thread, for your information. Completely different from what you have.

If you are looking for pictures these pages of my website might help you.
If it is a Tokheim it is probably in the 600, so just click on any of the 600 models: http://petrolianacollectibles.com/tokheim%20pumps.htm

If it is possible a Wayne (and I don't think it is) it is probably in the 500 Models on this page: http://petrolianacollectibles.com/wayne%20pumps.htm
