I picked up this bell and it didn't work so I tore into it. It Ohm tested out good so I plugged it in and it tested good that way too. Did a bit of googling and this company is not longer so I looked on the Milton site and they make and sell every replacement part but the striker "Bullet" as they call it. I'd like to know what this is made of and size if anyone here has one kicking around. Then I will try and make one.

I had the same problem with mine . Took it apart and cleaned the striker pin (bullet) real well and the housing where it slides up and down with WD 40 and re-assembled it and all works well .Apparently spiders and web residue hamper its movement .Hope this helps.
