This one has h factory globe top. It also has no sight glass & has the stainless steel on the side. Sorry Dave this is the last globe depression top I have, but I'll keep an eye out for anymore.

So the Wayne 80 and M-S 80 are the same pumps? They have lots of different parts if you ask me. But I am not a pump expert.

I've seen it on a few.... maybe it's a regional thing? Kinda like sum of your Canadian pumps are different than what I find in Indiana? Chris

Some time ago I listed all the versions of the M&S/Wayne Model 80 pumps. There are over 32 different versions. Remember, when Wayne bought out M&S, Wayne moved everything they had In Ft. Wayne to the M&S factory in Salsberry, MD. This was now the official home of Wayne.

Before Wayne moved to Maryland they announced some of their new pump that were coming out. The brochure I have shows all the pumps you are familiar with, but in the middle is a pump that says "Model 80" under it. This pump was never made because when Wayne purchased M&S Wayne decided to continue making the M&S 80 under the Wayne name using the same 80 number. I have been saving this brochure to use in an article for either CTO or PCM when I decide to start writing again.
It appears that Wayne decided to continue making the 80 (all 32 versions) but that didn't last long, Wayne when they put their name on the pump alone (no mention of M&S) they eliminated a number of the versions.
I have a number of M&S 80 parts catalogs, also some M&S/Wayne parts catalogs and lastly some Wayne 80 only parts catalogs that confermins the above. Now what any person/service station owners/rebuilder/decides they are going to take this scrip top/top with a globe holder etc. off of this junk pump on put it on a 80 that never had a script/globe top on it we can't determine.
We need to loosen up, just because we saw one pump with something different doesn't mean that 20,000 identical pump had that "something different."

Any idea on what year this pump might be? When was M&S fully eliminated from the 80 series face plates?
