Picked this a short time ago. I found a piece of steal pipe and took a plasma cutter to it so it would look like a pole when hanging on the wall.

Thanks Darin. My original intent was to sell the lenses and use the original ring while restoring my American visible in Gulf colors, but now after looking at the cool blistered paint on the ring I can't bring myself to strip it! You can't reproduce that look (well, I can't anyway).
Unfortunately the back lens is broken in two pieces so I'll need to find another 15" lens for the back to really make this globe "right".
