Is the topper a 1 piece or 2 piece? (bracket spot welded to disc = "2 piece" in my vernacular)...

I owned a couple Kendall 1 pc toppers back in the 1960s and 70s. My memory is not the best; but it seems to me that my toppers were of a different shape than the one in the image...

Bob. This is at an auction and this is the only picture they have posted. I zoomed in the best I could and it looks to be 1 piece. I've not found any other picture of this style of topper in my search.
