Ralph White sent in this comment to post for him:

"I attended Roy Reed's Gas Bash this past weekend in Fontana, CA. The show was great and the hospitality from Roy, his wife Theresa and friends was super.
Many of the hard core west coast collectors were there with great stuff. The weather was nice and lot's of good stories to share along with making new friends."

I hate to dredge up an old thread, but I remember someone at Roy Reed's had a California state highway Bear 71 sign ... does anyone know who that collector is, and if that Bear is still available for sale?

thanks smile

the 71 I'm trying to hunt down was an original style (15 1/4 by 17 inches, porcelain, no reflectors): I even managed to get a photo of it, but alas I do not recall the collector who was selling it. Here is the picture, from Roy Reed's in April 2009:

any help is greatly appreciated!
