Because it's MLK day, I thought I would share a local piece of Selma, AL history! About a year and a half back I picked up this mint 6ft porcelain Cougar Oil sign that was still in its box! They were a small jobber out of Selma that had about 10 stations at the time before they rebranded to Pure. It shocked me to find such a limited piece that had never been used. And look at all of those colors! More confirmation, to my amazement, that it's still out there.....
I posted it on FB earlyier and didn't want to leave y'all out.
Enjoy and happy hunting!
Looking for any Alabama based globes and advertising such as Coastal, Rebel, Interstate Oil, Foster Oil (supertane), Mutual, Oil Well, etc...
