Daniel , I like your themed displays . They really look great being a complete looking display's rather than a few pcs. This thread keeps getting better and better . Keep it going . Lots of things on here that some of us newbies have never seen .

I am a Mobil collector but I like The BOWES stuff with the cheerleaders on the packaging, looking for variations I do not have, Steve.

I purchased this WEED stand from an antique shop in our town over 30 years ago. The sign area is all original and quite nice, with no touch-ups. I did re-spray the metal parts of the stand with the correct color green way back when....something I probably wouldn't do today, given how much collectors now appreciate "as found" pieces.

It's my understanding that boxes of different-sized Weed tire chains would have been stacked on the shelves. I've added glass inserts to the metal shelves, so I can more easily display gas/oil cans and smalls on them. John
