I plan on going to an estate sale next week and there is a Butler 71 listed for sale. I do not have photos, but do know that the skins have no rust through, the cast iron, fluted bonnet is in place, pump is present, original handle is present, and 3 sets of gallon markers are inside the cracked, glass cylinder. The estate is asking $2,500 OBO. The pump is still bolted to the concrete pad and connected to the gas tank. Given the limited details I can provide, is $2,500 a fair price?

I agree with Richard 1500.

Always looking for grizzly gasoline stuff, or any Montana gas and oil stuff.

Thank you both. That will be my benchmark price. I have seen photos of the model 71 with exterior lights and some without. The pump I am considering was described as having a piece of safety glass in the bonnet, possibly like the G&B T176.
