Very nice 40A!
I went over to the west side of this state last Monday and paid a visit to Jerry M..
Gotta say, He's one of the best of 'em in this hobby!! The big banana would not have made it back in one piece without him!!! Thanx again, Mr.!!!!!!!!
A couple years back, he let me know he had this Rainbow/True's Oil co. sign. It's having a light box being built by a friend of mine. Can't wait to see it lit up!
Richfield is a 1 piece, 12ft long plastic sign with Porcelain trim pieces. First sign I've seen with plastic and porcelain used for it from the factory! It's also having a box built to light it up again.
Smithway L-3 D is super clean/complete previous Texaco pump if I'm correct about the holes in the doors... It was at another stop over there!

Happy and safe New Year to all!

Here are the goodies I scored this week. Been looking for a nice Mobilgas pledge plate for several months now and found a nice one! Found a decent pricer box at a local antique store for my visible pump resto project. The brass sign is off some type of machinery, but I bought it since it mentions using Socony-Vaccum's Gargoyle products. Also picked up a couple of nice grease cans - a Veedol and a Texaco. The Veedol really pops!

John,
I really like the aviation-themed oil cans. That globe is nice too. Good scores.

So when i bought this body i thought a high profile. I was reading this December of PCM Magazine and in there they were discussing globe body's. I didn't even know about a double stepped up body until then. I looked at mine and it is as well a double stepped up.still learning after 35 years. Just hope I can retain it.
