I just thought I would share a cool little thermometer advertising Northwest Stellarene Company "independent" of Shelby Montana and Coutts Alberta.
It is 6 inches across in a metal can with a glass face. Unfortunately the face which appears to be paper has some staining.
In surfing Stellarene it appears B/A (British American) bought the Coutts refinery from Stellarene around 1934 so I am guessing the thermometer dates from before then.
It's far from mint but still fun to find something that old.

Nice Harlan piece. From the graphics it appears it may be the same manufacturer.

Time to revive an old thread. Here's a couple Stellarene pieces I was lucky to get. Stellarene and Hi-Line gasoline together was very short lived. The early stages of the depression caused many to consolidate or get gobbled up by bigger companies.
