Hi everybody, I recently bought some signs from a friend who has been collecting a long time. He has always had originals and no reproduction stuff. I bought this Fram Flange sign among other things, and he guaranteed me it's the real thing and has had it 30+ years. I showed another collector friend and he says it's a reproduction and that is very hard to tell from the real and reproduction. It measures 25 3/4" tall and 16 3/4" wide. There is no maker's mark anywhere. I am wondering if anyone here knows the tell tale things (size, holes in flange, gauge of metal, etc.) to tell the real from the fake on this sign. Thank you for any information as I can't seem to find much on it.
