I am trying to find the cast part that is inside the bezel directly below the hose outlet. I also have not seen the long outlet as on this pump which is pretty neat. Any help identifying either or if anyone has the cast iron piece that is broken in the pictures please get in touch. I have had these two pumps for a few years now and it's time to get to work on them.
Also looking for lower trim.
Thanks,
Dave

Wow, that is really different! I have had a lot of 36B's over the years, and I have never seen one with that particular hose outlet, and I have never seen that little round bezel on one either? You learn something every day and this is mine for today!
Hopefully someone that has a pump with these parts on it will post some pictures!

That is a safety shut off pump. The part that is broken would have stuck out with a clamp on the end that went on the hose. If someone tried to drive off with the nozzle in the filler neck it would pull on the arm and switch the pump off. I had a Bennett with this on it. If I can remember I will take a picture from my Tokheim manual that shows it.

Here is the Bennett I had. I still have the unit because I switched it to a regular style outlet.

Thanks Matt. I had no idea what it was.

Doe anyone have any thoughts on eliminating the hole for the cast safety switch if I cannot locate the correct piece?

If you decide to eliminate the hole you may want to eliminate the extended hose outlet and make it look like a regular 36B.

Here are the schematics for the safety shut off. First one is a Tall 39, second is a 36B, third is a 36 and fourth a 34.

Matt,
Thanks for all the detailed information, I learn something everyday on this site. Looks like a pretty cool feature if I can get the parts the parts available. I can see why making it look like a regular 36B outlet would be simpler. The "almost" matching pump I have to go with it has a regular outlet. Looks like time will tell which way to go with this one. Meantime I will keep hunting for more pumps and parts.
Dave
