Hi again ...

Attached a pic of the gas station in the 60ies from a friend of mine...

This pic was taken from a prof Photografer to do the advertising at the launch of the company..

on the left part of the pic you see the neon
TANKHOF OST...

this is my new project...

My friend gave me last week the whole lettering ..
The only things thats left of the early days...
(backcase missing of all )...to restore and give a good place in my garage....

The station was located at the east ( Ost ) end of Kaiserslautern...

When my friends father was retired he quit and soled the station to the ESSO company in the 80ies....
Today only the roof is left and the service room is lended to a carcleaning company.....
