...I'm convinced the cardboard sign pictured is a fake...besides the fact that the letters used for 'Gargoyle' are just one color (likely the 'artist' who created the new artwork couldn't figure out how to split the letters with the red stripe, as is the case on the original signs), the font used for 'Gargoyle' is computer type that has been compressed to make it narrow...that's why the horizontal strokes of the letters are wider than the vertical ones...also, 'Arctic' is misspelled 'Artic' on the cardboard sign...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Picked up this cool, celluloid, overland paper weight. Mounted on a turtle. Dropped it right into the smalls collection.

Bought the 42" Globe sign at Iowa in 2015. Had a buddy restore both sides. Here's a before and after. If I ever find a nice one I'll up-grade and sell this one. Also bought the 30" Tydol Ethyl. That's it for me.

Awesome globe Noah! I thought you said you were switching from globes to cans? Evidently not...
