THE ALABAMA GANG invades DIXIE GAS SHOW.

Good vendor turn out and beautiful weather resulted in a lot of wheelin and dealin and fun for all. Pictured from left to right are: Tim Hickman's elbow (sorry Tim), Jim Black, Henry Gates, Dale Stephens, James Blakley, Larry Nace, Dan Shady, David Montgomery and Ivan Taunton. You can meet this talented group in person at the Dry Creek Gas Bash in Susan Moore, Alabama, July 11th and 12th. This is their fourth annual show and it is growing more each year with plenty of new vendors setting up. Tim....I will make sure you are in the next picture...sorry, blame it on my wife.

Hey Jim, the Vanderbilt tire sign was mine but it sold. It was a super nice sign and found a good home. Wonderful show and the weather was super. Some really nice peices showed up and traded hands. Chip and company always come through to make this a great show. Thanks to all who came. To the guy that stole my spark plug tin and Good Year handy oiler with the rub mark on the top left side (see items in photo of can rack on wall) if you're hurting that bad, email me and I will also send you some grocery money.

Dave, I hated to hear someone got a five finger discount on some of your nice items. Your reputation speaks for itself that you deal in quality items that would enhance anybody's collection. Vendors beware! Since the economy is the way it is and gas is so high, we may be seeing more of this. As vendors, we need to watch out for each others items for sale. As we were loading the Texaco canopy neon letters that I purchased, another Larry stopped by and told me he had a jewel body globe that someone stole. Let's start a new topic open for discussion on show theft and try to catch the ones doing it and go after them legally.
